The school is very pleased to have recieved an extremely complimentary letter from Tatton Park's Learning and Vistor Services.

The Education Staff at the park were so impressed with Year 4's behaviour, attitude and intelligence during an Anglo Saxon learning session that they felt compelled to write to us to commend the pupils.

The students were described as "...polite, hard working and completely immersed...".

Girls Football Team

Our girls' football team had a fantastic time playing matches against 3 schools. Most of the girls were fairly new to the game and yet managed to hold their own brilliantly, with a goal from Ayesha being the highlight of the evening!

Urban Crew

Urban Crew is a long running successful collaboration delivered by Manchester Communication Academy and Northwards Housing which is now in its fifth year.  It is a citizenship project for primary school children in Y5/6 and this year we have 13 schools from across North Manchester taking part, each with a team of between 8 and 12 students.

The children complete various tasks and activities throughout the year which must be evidenced in order to achieve the ASDAN Key Steps Award.

The Urban Crew have taken part in various activities including litter picking with the community, a cooking session at MCA and a trip to a nursing home where they planted seeds and bulbs with the elderly.
