Irish Festival

This month, our year five children will be visiting the, 'The World Irish Heritage Centre,' in Cheetham Hill. The children will have the opportunity to song traditional Irish folk songs with other schools from Manchester. During the day, they will participate in workshops that involve learning to play an instrument, traditional dancing and singing the folk songs with the other schools. The children loved this day last year which is why we are revisiting and enjoying the event once again. Please take the time to learn the songs at home as well as in school. The songs and lyrics can be found on the school website and the lyrics have been handed out in school.
